Both A&E Network and National Public Radio are dedicating airtime during the month of August to highlight stories of recovery from addiction to alcohol and other drugs.  Both opportunities involve a short timeline, so don’t delay in responding to this opportunity.

• A&E: A possible free trip to NYC to participate and represent Iowa at the Recovery Rally for A&E. An application needs to be filled out and postmarked by AUG 19 to be considered for the free trip, directions and the address are included on the form. Applicants will be notified by Aug 29 for the September 27th event.
• NPR: A chance to share your story online and possibly be asked to speak on National Public Radio’s “News & Views” with Geoffrey Bennett.
